In the early spring of 2022 I embarked on the journey of attending my very first artist residency at Chateau Orquevaux in France. During these two weeks, I and a dozen other artists of many mediums and home countries  wandered this house and the hills that surround the land, sketching, painting, and reflecting.

I made dozens of illustrations and plein airs during this time. As the days went by, the little world around this little village was blooming with little wild flowers amidst the grey of the morning rains.
